Liverpool backed to compete for both trophies.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was critical this week of questions about whether a Champions League exit could help the club’s title bid.
Klopp told BBC Sport he considered the concept ‘mad’.
Liverpool beat Bayern Munich anyway, winning 3-1 at the Allianz Arena.
Pundit Robbie Savage has weighed in on the debate.
Speaking to BT Sport’s post-game coverage, Savage said: “A lot of people have been asking if Liverpool went out tonight would they stand a better chance of winning the Premier League… they’ve got a chance of winning both!”
Savage’s message is in tune with Klopp, and is likely what Liverpool fans are thinking too.

Why not go all out to win both? This is what Liverpool want, and they have the quality to do it.
Of course it won’t be easy. Manchester City have a slender league in the Premier League.
Liverpool’s Champions League hopes will be impacted by who they draw this Friday. It could even be City, which is probably the draw both sides want the least.
