Former player and pundit Robbie Savage was asked for his snap answer on the two teams to win automatic promotion this season, via Twitter this morning, and plumped for two recently relegated teams, Newcastle United and Norwich City.
Savage clearly believes Newcastle’s class will eventually tell, but his faith in Norwich City also speaks volumes for the work Alex Neil is doing at Carrow Road.
A changed Canaries side beat Coventry 6-1 in the EFL Cup last night, and they are unbeaten so far this season with two league wins and two draws.
They currently sit in fourth place, with Newcastle in seventh, and the other relegated side Aston Villa in 12th.
