Robbie Savage has backed West Ham United to finish eighth in the Premier League this season.
West Ham endured a disappointing campaign in 2016-17 and could end up only 11th in the Premier League table.
The Hammers will be aiming to fare much better this campaign, and Savage has backed Slaven Bilic’s side to finish eighth.
The former Leicester City midfielder has also been impressed with the signings of Joe Hart and Javier Hernandez by West Ham.

While England international goalkeeper Hart has joined on a season-long loan deal from Manchester City, Mexico international striker Hernandez has made the switch from German club Bayer Leverkusen.
West Ham have also secured the services of right-back Pablo Zabaleta on a free transfer following the Argentine’s departure from Manchester City at the end of last season, while Marko Arnautovic, who can operate as a forward or as a winger, has moved from Premier League rivals Stoke City.

“Much as the Hammers’ recruitment last summer was poor, they have pulled off two of the best deals of this window by bringing in England keeper Joe Hart and Javier Hernandez,” Savage wrote in The Mirror.
“And after the teething troubles of moving into their new home last season, the worst may be over for Slaven Bilic. I fancy them to inhabit the top half. Verdict: Bubbles flying high 8th.”
