Everton duo Jordan Pickford and Michael Keane and Liverpool defender Joe Gomez are in Robbie Savage’s Premier League Team of the Week.
Robbie Savage has included Everton duo Jordan Pickford and Michael Keane in his Premier League Team of the Week, as posted on social networking site Twitter.
Former Birmingham City and Derby County midfielder Savage was impressed with the performance of goalkeeper Pickford and defender Keane for Everton against Crystal Palace at Goodison Park in the Premier League on Sunday evening.
Pickford saved Luka Milivojevic’s penalty with his feet, while his England international teammate Keane was brilliant at the back for Marco Silva’s side, who won their Premier League match against Palace 2-0, thanks to late goals from Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Cenk Tosun.
Savage has also included 21-year-old Liverpool defender Joe Gomez – who earns £30,000 per week as salary, according to The Express – in his Premier League Team of the Week for his performance against Huddersfield Town away from home in the Premier League this past Saturday evening.
Among the others players who impressed former Wales international midfielder Savage this weekend are Arsenal attacking midfielder Mesut Ozil and right-back Hector Bellerin and Manchester United forward Anthony Martial.
