Crystal Palace have signed Christian Benteke from Liverpool.

Former Leicester City and Derby County midfielder Robbie Savage has suggested in The Mirror that Christian Benteke will prove to be a good signing for Crystal Palace.
Palace have signed Benteke from Premier League rivals Liverpool on a four-year contract.
According to BBC Sport, the Eagles had to pay the Merseyside outfit a transfer fee of £27 million. It has been reported that the transfer fee could rise by a further £5m.
Former Leicester and Derby midfielder Savage has suggested that Benteke will prove to be a good signing for Alan Pardew’s side.

“Christian Benteke will be a good signing though, and could be the man to score the goals to take pressure of Pardew,” Savage wrote in The Mirror.
“They needed a finisher, and although Benteke didn’t do it at Liverpool if he can rekindle his Aston Villa form they should stay up.”

Benteke joined Liverpool from Villa in the summer of 2015 for a transfer fee reported by Sky Sports at the time to be worth £32.5m.
The scored former Genk and Standard Liege striker scored nine goals and created 30 chances in 29 Premier League appearances for Liverpool during the 2015-16 campaign.
Palace have made a disappointing start to their 2016-17 Premier League campaign.
The London outfit lost 1-0 to West Bromwich Albion at Selhurst Park last weekend and went down 1-0 to Tottenham Hotspur away from home at White Hart Lane on Saturday afternoon.
