Spurs suffered a 2-1 defeat to Leicester City away from home at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League on Tuesday evening.
United were also in action on Tuesday evening, and they got the better of Watford 4-2 away from home at Vicarge Road after being 3-0 up at one stage.
Robbie Savage was following the match, and the former Leicester City and Birmingham City midfielder made the following posts on social networking site Twitter.
Tottenham do play better football than United do, but their results in recent weeks have not been great.
Not only are Spurs out of the running for the Premier League title, but the North London out are actually behind Arsenal, Liverpool and Burnley in the league table at the moment.
United are currently second in the standings, and their effective football is getting them results and keeping their title challenge alive.
