Football pundit Robbie Savage has offered his advice to Ryan Giggs amid interest from Sunderland and Southampton.
Ryan Giggs
The Saints are currently in the process of replacing Frenchman Claude Puel, who was sacked last week.
And Manchester United legend Giggs reportedly sees Southampton as an ideal place to take his first steps in management, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Giggs was also made the favourite to replace David Moyes as Sunderland boss last month and is once again in the running after Derek McInnes rejected a job offer from the Stadium of Light.
The Black Cats have been without a manager since Moyes’ resignation following their relegation to the Championship.
But BT Sport pundit and fellow Welshman Robbie Savage has told Giggs he should not manage either club and instead replace Chris Coleman as Wales boss
“You’ve got Ryan Giggs in the background who obviously hasn’t got a managerial job yet so there is a replacement there for Chris Coleman,” Savage told BT Sport.

“Mark Hughes’ first job was manager of Wales so people can’t say ‘but it’ll be his first job’ because Mark Hughes did it and we saw how successful he was.
“If Wales don’t qualify I’d be surprised if he was still Wales manager at the end of the campaign and, if he did decide to leave, Ryan Giggs would for me be the perfect replacement.”
Wales sit third in Group D having played six of their 10 qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup in Russia and sit four points adrift of Serbia and the Republic of Ireland.
Giggs takes some advice from Jose Mourinho
Giggs has not had much success when it comes to landing jobs so far having previously been touted for the Swansea job before Paul Clement took over.
Coleman meanwhile has been linked with a return to managerless Crystal Palace.
