Graeme Murty’s Glasgow Rangers won against Heart of Midlothian at Ibrox, with Nottingham Forest-owned Jason Cummings scoring for the Gers.

Rangers returned to winning ways on Sunday afternoon, as they got the better of Heart of Midlothian 2-1 at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership.
Graeme Murty’s side headed into the match against Hearts on the back of a 4-0 defeat to Old Firm rivals Celtic at Hampden Park in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup.
The Gers played well against Hearts and deservedly picked up all three points from the encounter, thanks to second-half goals from Nottingham Forest-owned Jason Cummings and Daniel Candeias.
Alex Rae was following the match, and the former Rangers star was pleased to see the Gers win the match.

Performance of Jason Cummings
Meanwhile, former Hearts manager Robbie Neilson was impressed with the performance of Forest-owned striker Cummings.
Neilson, though, did suggest that the 22-year-old Scotland international striker, who joined Rangers on loan from Forest in the Championship in the January transfer window, should have scored a second goal.
Cummings joined Forest from Hibernian in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by The Nottingham Forest to be worth £1 million.
Neilson told BBC Sport: “He’s [Jason Cumming] done well, he’s got his goal. I think the three behind him supporting him has helped him create some space to get into the game.
“Should have had a second goal there to kill it off and make this last four minutes for Rangers a lot easier but he’s played his part today and got his goal, he’ll be quite happy.”
