Robbie Keane has claimed that Heung-Min Son is looking ‘so sharp’ at Tottenham Hotspur, as he told Sky Sports PL (20/02/22 at 7:25 pm).

The former Spurs striker added that their 3-2 win at Manchester City on Saturday was ‘incredible’.

Tottenham shocked the footballing world by rocking up at the Etihad, on the back of three defeats on the bounce, and beating Pep Guardiola’s side.

It was a statement of intent from Antonio Conte’s men, with Son supplying two assists, Dejan Kulusevski scoring his first Spurs goal and Harry Kane netting a brace.

Keane lauded what he saw from Tottenham, as he gave a special mention to the two men at the top.

“Incredible performance,” said Keane. “What a game to watch. Harry Kane is back to his best.

“That is probably the best number nine performance I have seen all season. He looked like a threat. He looked strong. Holding the ball up and bringing others into play. His finishing is probably the best in the Premier League.

“Then you have someone like Son as well. He looks so sharp, so great result for Tottenham.”

Signed under the stewardship of Mauricio Pochettino, Tottenham’s flying South Korean has been one of their best ever purchases.

A technically-gifted player with the ability to play across the front three, Son has showcased a variety of ways to put the ball into the back of the net.

Not many players have the ability to shoot or pass the ball with both feet with such ease, but Son has that in his locker.

He is currently on 79 Premier League goals and it would be fitting if he hits 100+ during his time in England.
