Robbie Fowler has praised Liverpool forward Sadio Mane on Twitter.

The former Liverpool star was impressed with the performance of Mane during the Reds’ 3-1 win against Arsenal at Anfield in the Premier League on Monday evening.

The 28-year-old Senegal international scored for the Reds in the 28th minute and was a constant problem for the Arsenal defence.

According to WhoScored, the former Southampton star took five shots of which three were on target and one ended in goal, took two key passes, had a pass accuracy of 89.5%, took 59 touches, attempted one dribble, and made two tackles and one interception.

So far this season, Mane has scored three goals in three Premier League games, while during the 2019-20 campaign, he scored 18 goals and provided seven assists in the league and scored two goals and provided one assist in the Champions League, according to WhoScored.

Fowler was impressed with Mane last night, and so was Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard’s cousin and ex-Everton prospect Anthony Gerrard, while former Reds star John Aldridge has praised Klopp’s team for their performance against Mikel Arteta’s side at home.
