Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur will face Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool in the Champions League final this season.

Premier League rivals Tottenham and Liverpool will face each other in the final of the Champions League at Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid on June 1.
Liverpool legend Fowler wrote in Total Champions League in The Sunday People (print edition, page 4, May 26, 2019): “I’ve seen Liverpool’s squad close up, in training, in pre-season. The togetherness they have is remarkable.
“And watching Spurs in Europe this season, you can see the same thing. The managers have build a genuine spirit in their squads that makes the players want to belong.”

Big game
Not many will have expected Tottenham and Liverpool to contest the Champions League final this season, and indeed Spurs and the Reds have defied the odds to come thus far in Europe’s premier club competition.
Neither Liverpool nor Tottenham have the best squad in Europe, but what they have is determination and team spirit.
The Champions League final in Madrid next month promises to be hugely exciting, and there should be a few goals in it.
Liverpool will head into the final as favourites, but if Harry Kane starts for Spurs, then the North London outfit will have a good chance.
The England international striker has been on the sidelines for a while, but he is training well and could be fit for the final.
