Leeds United visit Liverpool at Anfield on Tuesday night.
Robbie Fowler has told Liverpool’s website that the Reds must be wary of a Leeds United side who will raise their game in Tuesday’s League Cup clash at Anfield.
Garry Monk’s side travel to Merseyside in the knowledge that a shock victory would see them move into the semi-final of the EFL Cup.
Liverpool are bang in form under Jurgen Klopp, winning eight of their last 10 Premier League outings – the other two were draws – but Leeds will be no pushover.

The Whites have won four or their last five Championship games in a run of form which has seen them move fifth in England’s second tier in recent weeks.
Nevertheless, Fowler, who played for both clubs, does not anticipate much of a problem for Liverpool, but says Klopp and co must show United respect and treat it like they would a Premier League match.

“For me, you treat every game the same – whether you’re playing Manchester United or a lower-league side,” he told Liverpoolfc.com.
“You go out there and play to your utmost. If you go into any game and your mindset alters in any way, that’s why you see upsets. It should never be the case.
“On paper, Liverpool should be winning relatively easily. But the Leeds team, playing against a Premier League side and playing against Liverpool, will raise their game.
“It’s all about Liverpool – if they go out and play the way they can, I shouldn’t foresee any problems.”
Leeds have proven very difficult to dispose of in the League Cup so far. Two of their four victories in this competition have come via a penalty shootout, while their other two were narrow 1-0 wins over Luton and Blackburn Rovers respectively.
Meanwhile, the Reds edged out Tottenham Hotspur in the last round in order to reach the last eight, having previously thumped Derby County and Burton Albion – both Championship clubs – by a 3-0 and 5-0 margin.
