The Leeds United striker has torn his knee ligaments.

Leeds United head of medical Rob Price has revealed to LUTV that Kemar Roofe has been undergoing double sessions in the gym at his own behest, in order to return as quick as possible.
The Whites announced last week that Roofe, Leeds’ top goalscorer this season, had torn his knee ligaments and could be sidelined for up to eight weeks.
It was and still potentially is a huge blow for the Whites, who are vying for automatic promotion into the Premier League.
But Price claims that the man himself has been working tirelessly in the gym in an effort to play another role in United’s season.
He told LUTV: “He’s already started [rehabilitation]. One of the big things that Kemar did the day after [the injured] is say he wanted to do double sessions.
“He’s a really, really good pro and the fact that he’s working so hard, he’s going to reduce the time [that he misses].”
Roofe must have been devastated to have potentially been ruled out of the run-in, having carried Leeds’ promotion bid for so long with so many goals.
But to have purportedly said that he wanted double sessions, the day after the injury, is really quite impressive.
Mental strength is a huge thing for footballers but it seems like the 26-year-old might have it an abundance and, if he is available for Marcelo Bielsa again before the end of the season, it can only be a good thing.
