Rob Jones has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Ki-Jana Hoever leaving Liverpool for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
As reported by BBC Sport, Ki has joined Wolves from Premier League rivals Liverpool for an initial transfer fee of £9 million.
The 18-year-old, who can play as a central defender or as a right-back, joined the Reds in 2018, but the teenager failed to establish himself in the first team.
Former Liverpool right-back Jones has said that it is “sad” that the Netherlands Under-18 international is leaving Anfield, and has wished him the best of luck at Wolves.
Good move for Ki-Jana Hoever?
Ki is only 18 years of age, and it was going to be extremely hard for the the Dutchman to establish himself in the Liverpool starting lineup anytime soon.
It made sense for the youngster to move to Wolves, and he could get a chance at right-back under manager Nuno, with Matt Doherty having left for Tottenham Hotspur.
It will be up to Ki to make the most of the chances he will get at Wolves, who will be aiming for the Champions League places this season.

Meanwhile, Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti has given his take on Thiago Alcantara joining Liverpool.
Ancelotti worked with the former Barcelona central midfielder at Bayern Munich.
The Liverpool Echo quotes Ancelotti as saying: “Thiago is a friend. He is a fantastic player, a fantastic midfielder. I had the luck in my career to train top, top players and Thiago is one of them.”
