Leeds goalkeeper Rob Green has shared who he believes is the club’s most skilful player, during an interview with the club’s official website.

The 36-year-old has been an instrumental figure for the Whites so far this season, helping them rise to sixth in the Championship table – which has been quite an achievement since their horrific start to their campaign.

Speaking to LeedsUnited.com, the former West Ham United and Queens Park Rangers stopper responded to a question asking him who is the most skilful player currently plying his trade at Elland Road:

“Most probably Alex Mowatt.”

The 21-year-old has been at Leeds for the entirety of his fledgling career, and has incredibly already made 120 appearances for the West Yorkshire outfit, scoring 12 goals.

The left-sided midfielder has played a regular part in Garry Monk’s team so far this season, making 11 appearances in the Championship, although he will want to improve upon the amount of games he started – currently just four.

Next up for Monk’s men is a huge game at home against league leaders Newcastle United next weekend, as they look to continue their fine form and climb their way up the Championship table.
