Leeds United are ninth in the Championship at the moment.
Leeds United goalkeeper Robert Green has revealed to LUTV what manager Garry Monk told him upon joining the club.
The 36-year-old joined Leeds on a one-year deal in the summer and has since displaced Marco Silvestri as the Whites’ number-one keeper at Elland Road.
The former England stopper has also represented West Ham United and QPR during his career, but Green has described Leeds as a “monster of a club”.

And the veteran says that Monk made him well aware of just how big the Yorkshire giants were prior to his arrival back in July.
He told LUTV: “It’s a monster of a club. It’s something that the manager spoke to me about when I signed. He said, ‘you won’t believe the size of the club when you come’ and that sort of thing.”

Since the 38-year-old manager took charge of Leeds, it is becoming increasingly evident that it is a major club in English football, with the Whites’ home form at the moment renewing a big sense of optimism regarding the team.
Green has started all 15 of Leeds’ Championship games this season as Monk’s side continue to chase a playoff spot.
United are ninth in the Championship and one point adrift of the top six ahead of Saturday’s visit to Norwich City, who lost 5-0 at the weekend.
