Everton are reportedly keen on signing highly-rated attacking duo Wilfried Zaha and Moise Kean.
Rob Green has spoken in awe at what Everton’s forward line will look like if they sign attacking duo Wilfried Zaha and Moise Kean this summer.
The Telegraph previously claimed that Everton want to sign Crystal Palace wide man Wilfried Zaha and they are willing to pay £60 million for his services.
Added with that, Marco Silva is arguably closing in on the best signing since he has been at the club because the club are closing in on a deal for Juventus striker Kean, as reported by BBC Sport.
Speaking to the Monday Night club on BBC Radio 5 Live, former England goalkeeper Green stated that Zaha would be a ‘hell of a signing’ and these are ‘exciting times’ for the club.
On Zaha: “That’s a coup,” Green told BBC Radio 5 Live. “I think that’s a big one for them. A club like Arsenal are trying to buy him. Not to put water on it, but swap deals very rarely come off in football, especially the higher end. Do Everton players want to go and play for Crystal Palace? Too many equations in there for it to work.
“If they can get that over the line then it’s a hell of a signing. You look at the options they have got. Those attack-minded players and those midfielders.
“They’ve been linked with Moise Kean, as well. So, they have got a real strength in depth there. It looks like exciting times. I don’t know whether they have truly replaced Lukaku, whether that’s something they’ll be looking at in Kean or maybe elsewhere.”
The Toffees have been searching for a centre-forward all summer and if they can secure the signature of Kean then it would seriously increase their chances of finishing in Europe next season.
Not only would the 19-year-old add goals to Everton’s frontline, but he will be a player for the long-term and someone the club can build their future around.
