Aston Villa’s Callum O’Hare has been called up to the England Under-20 squad.

Aston Villa’s attacking teenage prospect Callum O’Hare has been named as part of the England under-20 squad for their upcoming friendlies.
The 19-year-old has won one cap with the England youth side so far, and has made eight appearances for the Villans so far this term.
The youngster was clearly pleased with his call up and tweeted a message to the fans after being named in the squad, but the youngster could not have imagined the response he was about to receive.
The Villa faithful are clearly extremely excited over O’Hare as a future prospect, with many individuals evidently believing that he is worthy of more first team exposure already, rather than saving him for the future.
Many individuals took to Twitter to respond to O’Hare, tweeting him messages of support, whilst others questioned the teenager as to why Steve Bruce has been so reluctant to throw him in to the first team for more games.

With Villa pushing for promotion, it is perhaps understandable why the forward has not yet become a regular feature in the starting XI. Were the club slightly worse off in the league, and looking unlikely to make the play-offs there is no doubt that the youngster would have featured more, but the point remains that he is a huge talent for the future.
Should Villa be unable to retain Lewis Grabban ahead of next season, O’Hare may have an important role to play for the Villans next year.
Here is a round up of some of the reaction to the Villa starlet’s tweet…
