The Scottish youngster rejoins the club on loan at which it all began for him.
Swansea City’s Ryan Blair has re-joined his former club Falkirk where he started his career as a boy according to the Daily Record.
The Falkirk academy product was promoted to the first-team in 2014 under then-boss Peter Houston, making 15 appearances for the Bairns before earning a move down south to Swansea in January 2016.
Two years on the 21-year-old midfielder makes the switch back north of the border for the rest of the season to help his former side in their relegation battle, currently sitting ninth with only three wins from 20 games.
Blair is yet to make his debut for the Swans and has turned out mainly for the under-23 side, however, Falkirk manager Paul Hartley believes the youngster has been developing nicely and welcomes his addition to the squad.
Speaking to the Falkirk website Hartley said: “We are really pleased to bring Ryan back for the next six months. He has developed really well during his time with Swansea and will provide us with a different option in midfield.
“He joined in with the group for the first time this morning and you can see that it will be a natural transition for him coming back to the club.
“He is, of course, out on loan to try and gain first team action and will be available for selection for Saturday’s match against Morton.”
Morton currently sit sixth in the Championship table, 11 points ahead of Falkirk with a game in hand.
