Tottenham Hotspur’s Kenyan midfield enforcer recently picked up the Premier League goal of the month award for February for his screamer against Liverpool.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama recently won the Premier League goal of the month award for February, triggering Spurs fans to call for more game time for the Kenyan.
The former Celtic and Southampton star arrived in North London ahead of last season and enjoyed an impressive first campaign at White Hart Lane, making 47 appearances and scoring five goals, but this season the Kenyan’s minutes on the pitch have been much more limited.
With Eric Dier, Harry Winks and the club’s top performer Mousa Dembele as competition for a midfield spot, Wanyama has been resigned to only 10 Premier League appearances so far this term, and 15 in all competitions.
Despite this, the 26-year-old has still impressed when selected and is clearly a hit with the Tottenham fans, who have taken to Twitter to express their desire for Pochettino to play him more.

The Kenyan was an absolute coup for Spurs, arriving from Southampton for a fee of £11million (BBC), a bargain given the current financial climate in modern day football.
With Wanyama’s limited game time this season, Tottenham fans are clearly wary of the midfielder losing interest in playing for the club, and with various teams reportedly circling, many fans are urging the club to play him more.
