The young defender confirmed his loan move to the Championship from Manchester United yesterday.
Axel Tuanzebe, 20, has joined Aston Villa on loan for the rest of the 2017/2018 campaign and Villa fans are delighted to hear it.
The versatile youngster made his United debut last season and has since gone on to make eight appearances for Jose Mourinho’s side.
With his primary position being centre-back, the England under-21 international is also comfortable playing at right-back and holding midfield. His playing style has been likened to players such as Bayern Munich’s Javi Martinez and Villa fans will be hoping that he can play a big role in shoring things up at the back.
The youngster is rated very highly at Old Trafford and has drawn much praise from his parent-club manager.
According to the Manchester United website Jose Mourinho recently said: “Tuanzebe is a very good player that is not having lots of possibilities to play here.
“But he’s our player and he will be our player – no chance we give up on such a talented boy. He is a player that we like very much.”
