How will Tottenham Hotspur lineup against Manchester City on Saturday as they look to make full use of the Citizens’ recent plight in form.

Having lost twice to Liverpool and once to Manchester United in the space of a week, which saw them painfully knocked out of the Champions League and denied the chance to win the title against their cross city rivals, Manchester City will be hurting more than ever, despite still looking certain to win a third Premier League title in their history.
City’s season has somewhat unravelled after such a long period of dominance, and for a team being dubbed as potential treble winning invincibles, they will now have to settle for only two pieces of silverware in the form of the League Cup and Premier League.
Next up, they face a trip to London to play Tottenham, as tough an encounter as they come, and Spurs will be looking to make full use of their drop off in form in recent weeks.

Kieran Trippier’s fitness is currently in the balance, and the club are set to make a late decision on whether or not he can play, with Serge Aurier set to start in his place. Besides that, Tottenham look a complete outfit, which is further bad news for Pep Guardiola.
In terms of head to head encounters, Spurs currently have one up on City with 60 wins compared to the Etihad club’s 59. there have been 35 draws between the two sides previously.
As always, Hugo Lloris should start between the sticks behind a back four of Ben Davies, Davinson Sanchez, Jan Vertonghen and Serge Aurier.
Eric Dier and Mousa Dembele should start in midfield, with Dele Alli in the slightly advanced number ten role. Dembele will be instrumental in putting a stop to player of the season hopefuls, Kevin De Bruyne and David Silva, who have been so lethal throughout the entire campaign.
On the flanks, Son Heung-Min and Christian Eriksen will resume their regular positions, with the Dane in red hot form having netted four goals in the club’s last three outings.
Finally, Harry Kane will start up top, as he continues to try and increase his tally for the season in the hope of winning the Golden Boot.
