How will Rangers lineup to face Dundee tomorrow afternoon at Ibrox?

Rangers manager Graeme Murty is seen during the Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership match between Rangers and Kilmarnock at Ibrox Stadium on March 17, 2018 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Rangers will be looking to bounce back from a run of three games without a win and give their home crowd something to shout about having lost two games to Celtic and Kilmarnock, then drawing with Motherwell last outing.

Graeme Murty’s men looked ready to blast the title race back open and were one result away from doing so prior to the Old Firm derby, however, since their agonising loss to the 10 men of Celtic, the league campaign looks all but officially wrapped up for the Hoops.

Rangers now face a tough opponent in the form of Dundee, who performed well against Celtic midweek to earn a clean sheet in a fairly underwhelming 0-0 encounter.

Ross McCrorie could return to the starting lineup having fully recovered from his foot injury, whilst goal machine Josh Windass is a doubt after limping off in the 2-2 draw with Motherwell.

In goal, Wes Foderingham should line up as usual, with a back four of Declan John, Ross McCrorie, Bruno Alves and James Tavernier. McCrorie comes in for Russell Martin, who has failed to impress as of late.

In midfield, we will likely see Graham Dorrans partnered with Greg Docherty, as the duo look to build on their useful looking relationship in the middle of the park. Dohcerty has looked a real capture since his arrival in January, and should serve as the perfect youthful spark alongside the highly experienced Dorrans.

On the attacking flanks, it is impossible to overlook Jamie Murphy and Daniel Candieas, who have both enjoyed terrific seasons so far. Both wingers work tirelessly for the team, and will cause the Dundee full-backs real problems should they perform to their capabilities.

With Josh Windass out, a space is left for Jason Cummings to slot in, and we could see the former Hibs ace partner Alfredo Morelos up top. Murty has experimented with the partnership in various games in the second half of the season, and it has appeared to have worked on previous occasions.

The onus is now on Cummings to seize his opportunity with a limited number of games left to prove his worth to the Rangers management.
