Tottenham forward Son Heung-Min has been terrific for his side this season and put in another great performance against Juventus last night.

Tottenham Hotspur’s South Korean forward Son Heung-Min was denied the chance to be a North London hero as his first half goal was cancelled out by Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala strikes that saw the Old Lady dump Spurs out of the Champions League.

The 25-year-old has gone from strength to strength during his time with Tottenham, and has developed into one of the club’s most important assets along with the likes of Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen.

Speaking to Spurs TV after the game, Son spoke of how proud he was of his teammates and the fans, and despite being bitterly disappointed, the entire club can hold their heads high for their showing in Europe’s premier competition this season.

“I’m very proud of my teammates, very proud of the fans,” the forward said.

“I’m proud of the performance, the one main thing is the result is not perfect but can be proud.”

Son’s emotional tribute to the fans led the Tottenham faithful to come out in full voice via Twitter to voice their support of the 25-year-old.
