Liverpool’s Ryan Kent set to be loaned out to Championship suitor following the termination of his Freiburg loan.

Liverpool winger Ryan Kent, 21, has returned to Merseyside after his loan deal with Bundesliga side Freiburg was cut short.
The Oldham born England youth international managed only one start in six appearances in Germany, and it is believed that Liverpool are keen on sending him down to the Championship in search of regular first-team football, as reported by the Liverpool Echo.

Kent enjoyed a magnificent spell in the Championship last season on loan at Barnsley, where the youngster made 47 appearances ending the season by winning the club’s Young Player of the Year award.
Having had such a successful stint in the second tier, the Reds hope that Kent can replicate his performances and finish the latter half of the season well, following such limited opportunities in Germany.

To date, Kent has only made one appearance for the Liverpool first-team, featuring in a FA Cup tie back in 2015/2016.
The 21-year-old will join fellow academy products Sheyi Ojo, Connor Randall and Pedro Chirivella who are all currently loaned out should he secure a move this month.
