The Brazilian forward has bagged 22 goals and 11 assists for Liverpool so far this term

Liverpool’s Brazilian forward Roberto Firmino believes he in enjoying the best form of this career, having already equalled his highest ever tally of goals in a season.
When the 26-year-old joined The Reds from Hoffenheim in 2015 there were question marks over whether or not he could play in the no. 9 role. Having bagged 22 goals in all competitions for Liverpool already this season, however, he has clearly proved the doubters wrong.
The Brazilian has netted five goals in his last six appearances in a Liverpool shirt, and has also been on hand to provide 11 assists to his teammates, meaning he has contributed directly to 33 goals so far this seaon – a stunning return for any player.

Having formed such a lethal partnership with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, Firmino believes himself to be in the form of his life, and has eyes on sealing his place in Tite’s Brazil squad for the World Cup in Russia this summer.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Firmino said: “The moment we live here [at Liverpool] is very good in the Champions League, and also the Premier League.
“So yes, I would say it is my best phase here.

Liverpool are currently still in the hunt for a top four finish, but given the form of Firmino and his forward colleagues at Anfield, you would back the Reds to seal their spot in the Champions League next season. Some even have Liverpool as favourites to finish second. The club are all also but guaranteed to make it into the quarter finals of the Championship League, and Firmino will be given more opportunties to make his mark.
