The defender has developed into one of Europe’s finest young full-backs and has been attracting interest from some of the biggest clubs in the land.

Celtic’s Kieran Tierney has had a simply sublime start to his professional footballing career.
At the age of 20, the young left-back has captained both his boyhood club and his country, notching over 100 appearances for the Hoops already with plenty more to follow.
Adored by the fans, of which he is arguably the biggest one, Tierney has even earned two different chants from the Celtic faithful who are no doubt praying that the youngster remains at Parkhead for many, many years to come.

Having attracted interest from the likes of Manchester United, speculation over his future is only going to increase in the coming years, but the 20-year-old has had his say on his long term Celtic future.
In an interview with Celtic legend Chris Sutton on BT Sport, when asked whether or not he will be a one club man’,Tierney replied: “I wouldn’t put it past me.
“I’ve been at Celtic 13 years, I’ve been happy here all that time and I’ve signed a long term deal.

“Right now I’m very happy where I am, I’m at a team that is successful, we’re winning trophies, I’m developing and it’s great for me, my friends and family for them to see me play for the club we all love.”
When asked about whether or not he would be around for Celtic’s potential record-breaking 10th title winning season in a row, Tierney replied: “I’m hoping so. That’s the dream for every Celtic fan and all the Celtic players.”
That said, the better he gets, the more likely that Celtic will receive an offer they simply cannot refuse; especially in an ever-inflating transfer market.
