The West Ham United loanee is enjoying a run of stunning form for Aston Villa as they continue to push for automatic promotion.

Robert Snodgrass, 30, has been gaining adoration from the Aston Villa fans with every game as he continues his run of scintillating form.

The Scottish winger was loaned to the Midlands club after a disappointing 2016/2017 season with West Ham United, but he has gone on to have contrasting fortunes this term.

The 30-year-old has netted seven goals in the league and is tied as the club’s second top scorer with Irishman Conor Hourihane, while he has also provided an impressive league-leading nine assists for his teammates.

Currently sitting nicely in second place, Snodgrass is loving life at Villa Park and has indicated that he would relish the opportunity to stay with the Villans and have a crack at the Premier League if promotion can be secured.

Unfortunately for Villa fans, Hammers boss David Moyes is reportedly keen on retaining his compatriot, and even attempted to force through a re-call for the Scotland international during the January window.

Should Villa stand a chance of landing Snodgrass in a permanent deal, Steve Bruce should act fast and the Villa fans have been crying out for exactly that.

Here is a round up of the reaction on Twitter, with many Villa supporters expressing their desire for the club to tie Snodgrass down quickly:
