The Rangers midfielder has seriously upped his game in recent weeks with four goals in his last three Rangers appearances.
Last month, Rangers attacking midfielder Josh Windass, 24, set himself a target of reaching double figures by the end of the season.
The former Accrington Stanley player expressed his disappointment at his scoring efforts last season, managing only a single strike the entire campaign, and vowed to up his game and contribute more on the scoring front for his team.
Speaking to the Rangers website, Windass went on record saying: “I normally try to get into double figures with goals, obviously last season that was a disaster but this season I am well on course.”
Since setting himself that target, the 24-year-old has kept true to his word, with a stunning return of four goals in his last three outings.
In last night’s win over Partick Thistle, Windass displayed blistering pace and desire to get on the end of a pinpoint cross from Daniel Candeias, tucking away a neat finish into the top corner to taake his tally to 10 for the season.
The Englishman now surely has his sights on breaking his own season record of 17 in all competitions, which he achieved with Accrington Stanley in 2015/2016.
The midfielder is now rapidly approaching current Rangers top scorer Alfredo Morelos, whose 13 strikes so far led him to being linked with a multi-million pound move away from Ibrox in the January window.
Should Windass keep his scoring up, there is no doubt he will be attracting much interest from down south, with his performances proving that he a real asset to any side.
