The Rangers forward bagged his side’s early equalising goal against Hamilton to spur on a come-back which ended 5-3 to the Ibrox side.

Jamie Murphy has realised his boyhood dream after bagging an important goal for Rangers in the Scottish Premiership clash with Hamilton.
His side went 1-0 down after five minutes after conceding a Darren Lyon goal, but Murphy was on hand to draw his team level just five minutes later, spurring on the come-back that ended as a thrilling 5-3 win for the Gers.
The on-loan Brighton man has enjoyed a decent start to his Rangers career, but has perhaps not reached the heights expected of him having arrived in Glasgow with such much promise.
Against Hamilton however, the former Sheffield United and Motherwell midfielder was simply excellent. The 28-year-old will be hopeful of building upon this to help his side finish as strongly as possible in the league.

“The feeling of scoring for Rangers is amazing, it is something I have always dreamed about, scoring goals for this football club,” Murphy said.
“It was good to get the first league one [on Sunday] but the first one last week felt better. Every goal is amazing but you can’t beat your first one.
“I have been happy with my performances so far, I have been really enjoying playing in the team, the boys in the changing room are great and the manager is great.”
If Murphy can continue adding goals to his game, with Morelos and Windass both going through a purple patch when it comes to goal, Murty’s men look to be in a fine position.
There is no doubt that the feel-good-factor is beginning to return to Ibrox, and the likes of Murphy are right at the heart of the Rangers rejuvenation.
