Celtic academy graduate Liam Henderson has been enjoying his transition to life in Italy since his January move to Bari.

Former Celtic midfielder Liam Henderson has been enjoying life at his new club Bari after his January move to Serie B.
The Hoops academy graduate joined the senior team in 2013 aged just 17 and looked a very promising prospect with his displays in the middle of the park. However, the youngster was never really able to hold down a regular position, facing stiff competition from the likes of Scott Brown, Stuart Armstrong, Callum McGregor and this season Olivier Nctham.

At 39, the former Italy international is one of the oldest active players in Italy and with nearly 550 league appearances in his career, he is as experienced a player as they come.
Not only does Brienza share Brown’s experience, however, but it is the veteran’s drive which likens him most to Celtic’s warrior captain.
“Franco is incredible. To see his determination and attitude at 39 years old is amazing. He is an example to me and probably the most professional player that I have ever seen in my career,” Henderson told the Scottish Sun.
“The only player I have ever seen with similar attitude is Scott Brown. He is getting towards the end of his career and getting older but the professionalism and determination he shows in training is incredible.
The former Celt finished by adding: “[Brienza] is the perfect inspiration.”
Since arriving in Italy, Henderson has made eight Serie B appearances, scoring once.
