Brighton and Hove Albion are hoping Spartak Moscow’s Ze Luis will be the man to fire them to safety

Chris Hughton’s men have done relatively well since their promotion to the Premier League this season, however, they have lacked the attacking prowess necessary for top flight sides, currently sitting third bottom in terms of goals scored this term.

In search of a new striker, Brighton are looking to Russia in the hope of landing Spartak Moscow’s Ze Luis, believing him to be the man to provide them with the focal point up front.
Ze Luis, 26, helped Spartak to their first league championship since 2001 last season and he has netted 19 goals in 63 appearances so far for the Russian side.

These may not be Harry Kane esque figures, however the strong Cape Verdean may be the exact presence Brighton need up front to get them over the line in the tight affairs that ultimately mean the difference between relegation and survival.
Brighton had a £5m bid turned down for Ze Luis earlier this season and it is believed that the south coast club are prepared to make an improved offer of £20m to ensure his signature according to the Sun.
