Tottenham Hotspur’s away win at Stoke City on Saturday saw the club extend their league unbeaten run to 14 games, having won 11 and drawn three during this time.

Spurs have been a real force under the guidance of Mauricio Pochettino over the last couple of seasons, with the likes of Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen and this season, Son Heung-Min, all contributing significantly to the success of the team.

Having dropped out of the Champions League against Juventus in the round of 16, and 17 points off the pace of champions elect Manchester City, the club’s only chance of silverware new lies with the FA Cup, and will face a tough opponent in Manchester United in the semi-finals later this month.

Having come so close, Spurs fans will eventually expect the team to get over the line in terms of winning something significant, however, with the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool all looking strong, the competition is only going to grow fiercer and fiercer, making it all the more frustrating for Tottenham fans.

With their team having demonstrated such consistency this season, especially in the last 14 league fixtures, a trait which they have become know for in recent times, many fans have taken to Twitter to express their thoughts and feelings with regards to the success of the team. With the club set to host City at Wembley this weekend, the potential to extend the unbeaten run to 15 would be a massive achievement, but one that most definitely achievable for the North London club.
