The Leicester City winger could cost three times as much as Tottenham Hotspur’s imminent signing.

Leicester City are demanding a whopping £75m if they are to sell winger Riyad Mahrez to Manchester City before the transfer window closes, according to The Mirror.

As The Mirror reports, Mahrez has handed in a second transfer request at the King Power Stadium to try to force a deadline-day move to the Premier League leaders.

The Foxes are rightly trying to milk big-spending City for as much as they can for the Algerian international winger who has nine goals and assists a piece this season.

And the massive valuation that Leicester have slapped on Mahrez highlights how good business Tottenham Hotspur are doing to get Lucas Moura for a third of the price.

Sky Sports understands that the Paris Saint-Germain winger has passed a medical in North London and should be confirmed as a Spurs player in the upcoming hours.

Apart from their valuations this window, Moura, 25, and Mahrez, 26, are very comparable.

Lucas Moura #7 of Paris Saint-Germain tries to break away from Radja Nainggolan #4 of AS Roma during the second half at Comerica Park on July 19, 2017 in Detroit, Michigan.

They are of a similar age and are both quick and tricky wide men with similar scoring records – Moura averages a goal every 4.6 games throught his career, and Mahrez every 4.3 matches.

The Leicester title-winner is already proven in English football, but Moura has far greater Champions League pedigree having played in the competition 38 times for PSG.

Mahrez’s career is on the up while Moura has something to prove after losing his place at PSG, and Spurs have taken advantage of that to bag themselves a January bargain.
