Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez has previously been linked with Tottenham Hotspur.

Mahrez has been in good form at Leicester this term, with the winger contributing five assists and scoring two goals in 11 Premier League appearnances.
Mahrez has looked particularly dangerous lately, since Claude Puel took charge at the King Power Stadium.
And the 26-year-old’s displays should convince Tottenham to mount another bid for the wide-man, if he is still eager to exit.

Leicester, of course, will not want to lose Mahrez, as he remains one of their key players, but the emergence of Demarai Gray means that the blow may now not be quite as hard to take, as it once would have been.
Tottenham would, therefore, be well placed to test the water in January, given their previous interest.

But with Spurs now challenging in both the Premier League and the Champions League, Mauricio Pochettino is going to need to utilise all of his squad, and bringing in a player of Mahrez’s quality could be a difference maker for the Lilywhites.
