Leicester’s Riyad Mahrez takes on Tottenham Hotspur this evening.

Leicester City boss Claude Puel has called on Riyad Mahrez to raise his game ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s visit to the King Power Stadium.
Mahrez is capable of more; his form in 2015/16 inspired Leicester to win the Premier League title, and he picked up individual awards along the way.
He has gone off the boil in the last two games, in which Leicester have picked up just one point. The game against Spurs this evening is the perfect opportunity for him to kick on.

A big performance from Mahrez could even convince Tottenham Hotspur to make their own move for him.
The Mirror reported in the summer that Tottenham were keen on the winger, who they valued at around £30 million. Leicester would later turn down a bid around that figure from Roma.
Tottenham’s lack of wide players capable of opening up tight games has been evident in recent weeks, and Mahrez ticks all the boxes.
He is proven in the Premier League, has a winner’s mentality, and is both experienced in the Champions League without being cup tied for this year’s competition.
A big performance against them this evening could end up convincing chairman Daniel Levy to pay up.
