Chelsea are weighing up sanctioning a transfer for Armando Broja at the end of the season after his Southampton loan spell, but Arsenal face a sky-high fee for their reported target.
That’s according to TuttoMercatoWEB, who note the Blues believe Broja can fetch at least €70m (£58m) in the summer market. Putting the Albania international in the same bracket as Dusan Vlahovic, who chose to join Juventus over Arsenal in a €70m switch this January.
Chelsea now feel Broja is worth a sizable investment should anyone look to poach the 20-year-old after an impressive loan. The Slough-born forward has scored six goals and laid on an assist over 22 Premier League games for the Saints during his one-year south coast stay.

Broja had only featured in one top-flight fixture for just four-minutes before moving to St Mary’s for the season. Frank Lampard awarded the striker his league debut as a substitute against Everton in March 2020. He spent the following term on loan with Vitesse Arnhem.
A brief late cameo against the Toffees remains Broja’s sole senior outing for the Stamford Bridge outfit so far. But Chelsea have taken note of his strong status at Southampton, with five further outings during cup competitions and scoring against West Ham in the FA Cup.
Chelsea have now set Arsenal £58m asking price to seal Armando Broja transfer
Broja sealed Southampton’s place in the FA Cup quarter-final by netting against West Ham on Wednesday night. He now has nine goals in 27 games this term across all competitions.

So, Chelsea have set reported suitors like Arsenal a £58m asking price to seal a transfer for Broja. Mikel Arteta is tracking the Blues talent, who Martin Keown tips to be ‘outstanding’, after missing out on the Gunners’ top targets like Vlahovic in January, per football.london.
Arsenal will again be in the striker market this summer with Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah also out of contract. They are currently Arteta’s only senior options, while Folarin Balogun will return to the Emirates Stadium following his loan spell with Middlesbrough.
