Burnley manager Sean Dyche has raved about Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, as quoted on BBC Sport.

Kane scored for Tottenham in their 4-0 win against Burnley at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.

After the game, Dyche spoke highly of the England international striker and also praised the other attacking players in the Tottenham team.

BBC Sport quotes Dyche as saying: “The power, quality, intent they show. Harry Kane is first class, but other players around him, sides like this their bad runs very rarely continue – that’s partly down to us but you have to give credit to a very good Tottenham team.”

Consistent figure

Kane has had injury problems this season, but the England international striker remains a very important player for Tottenham.

While much has been made of Gareth Bale’s recent form, there is no doubt that when fit and available, Kane is the first name on the Tottenham teamsheet.

The 27-year-old is a proven and regular goalscorer who works hard for the team, creates chances, and links up play.

According to WhoScored, Kane has scored 14 goals and provided 11 assists in 23 Premier League matches, and has scored one goal and provided two assists in three Europa League games for Spurs so far this season.

For Tottenham to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season, Kane will have to be on top of his game in the coming weeks.
