It got his attempts to win the World Cup golden boot off to a strong start, with a game against Panama up next.

The current leader is Cristiano Ronaldo with four goals from two games.

Kane’s Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino spoke out this week to compare Kane to Ronaldo, insisting he deserves to be regarded in the same bracket as the Portugal forward.
He told The Sun: “To be talked about in the same breath as Cristiano is something special.
“But that is how people are talking about Harry now. For me, he is already the best striker in the world.”

Ronaldo though has been perfecting the art of a striker in recent seasons as he adapts his game, and his consistency is something Kane can only aspire to at this early stage of his career.
Kane is yet to get started when it comes to matching Ronaldo’s trophy haul at club and international level, or for individual awards.
Rivals fans have been quick to criticise Pochettino, insisting that the Spurs boss is getting ahead of himself by talking up his star man and putting extra pressure on the forward.
