Tottenham Hotspur earned a dramatic win over Ajax on Wednesday night.

Rio Ferdinand suggested that Dele Alli’s part in Lucas Moura’s winning goal for Tottenham on Wednesday night cannot be underestimated, when speaking during BT Sport’s broadcast of the Champions League semi-final at the Amsterdam Arena.
Spurs look dead and buried inside the first-half, trailing 2-0 in the night and 3-0 on aggregate, but an inspired second-half display saw them book their place in the final in Madrid.
Lucas Moura took all of the plaudits, and rightly so, after a scintillating second-half hat-trick, but there was another Tottenham player who deserves praise for his part in the Brazilian’s winner.
Ferdinand highlighted Dele’s role in Spurs’ winner, when speaking during BT Sport’s broadcast of the Champions League semi-final at the Amsterdam Arena:

“Wow. We went crazy in here. The ball cannot be underestimated from Dele Alli. That pass there.”
The England international’s perfectly weighted pass made Lucas Moura’s job that little bit easier, but in fairness, the Tottenham forward still had a lot to do.
Tottenham now face Liverpool in the Champions League final on June 1st, and Mauricio Pochettino’s men will have to be on their very best form, if they are to win the trophy for the first time in their history.
