Speaking on Vibe With Five, Rio Ferdinand has been discussing Tottenham Hotspur after their win against Aston Villa, claiming that Heung-Min Son looks like he’s back in form.
Spurs had been going through a tough spell before the game against Aston Villa. They’d lost three consecutive Premier League matches, conceding nine goals in the process.
However, they bounced back against the Villans and Ferdinand reckons they’re not dead and buried just yet, stating that Son looks to be firing on all cylinders again.

Ferdinand was discussing Tottenham’s win against Villa.
“Also, moving onto Spurs. I feel like everyone thought Spurs were dead and buried, but they’re up to eighth now you know. Two points off of the top four, Son looks like he’s hitting a bit of form again. So with Tottenham, it will be interesting to see how they continue after this little international break,” Ferdinand said.
Big boost
If Son is truly back in form then that is a big boost for Tottenham.
The South Korean netted against Arsenal last week, while he played a pivotal role in Spurs’ win over Villa at the weekend.
Tottenham have blown hot and cold so far this term, but their best performances have undoubtedly come when Son has been playing his best football.
Realistically, Son could be even more important to Tottenham’s success this season than Harry Kane, especially after the England captain’s torrid start to the Premier League season.
