Rio Ferdinand said on Rio Ferdinand Presents Five that Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood sent Tottenham Hotspur left-back Sergio Reguilon “out of the stadium” at the weekend.

Tottenham suffered a 3-1 defeat to United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.

Greenwood did not start the match, but the 19-year-old forward came on as a substitute in the 72nd minute and scored the Red Devils’ third goal in injury time.

The England international forward got the better of Reguilon for his goal, having provided a brilliant ball for Edinson Cavani’s goal.

Former United defender Ferdinand has mocked Reguilon for the way Greenwood got the better of him for his goal.

Ferdinand said about Greenwood on Rio Ferdinand Presents Five: “He came on, he changed the game with an assist and a beautiful goal. I mean, Reguilon got sent out of the stadium, shifted him and then bang.”

How did Mason Greenwood and Sergio Reguilon play?

Greenwood is a very talented and promising young forward who has done well when he has played for United this season, and his performance against Spurs was superb.

The 19-year-old England international scored one goal and provided an assist, and Spurs defenders simply could not cope with him.

As for Reguilon, the former Real Madrid left-back has done well for Spurs this season.

However, against United on Sunday, the 24-year-old did not have a great game, as he could not do much going forward and struggled defensively.
