West Bromwich Albion have snapped up defender Darnell Furlong.

West Bromwich Albion finally added a new right back on Tuesday, completing the signing of Queens Park Rangers talent Darnell Furlong.
The Baggies have endured problems at right back for some time now, with Tyrone Mears as well as loanees Tosin Adarabioyo and Mason Holgate featuring there last season.
Slaven Bilic has identified that as a problem area, and snapped up Furlong on a four-year deal for £1.5million according to the Daily Mail.
The 23-year-old has been one of the Championship’s top young right backs with QPR, and the Baggies will now hope that he can become their long-awaited solution.
Furlong’s move means he has ended his long ties with QPR, as he joined way back in 2006, and his father Paul is an academy coach at Loftus Road too.
With real potential, Furlong’s move appears ideal for West Brom, and the move has been hailed by ex-England defender Rio Ferdinand.

Ferdinand played alongside Furlong at QPR, with Furlong making his debut in the Premier League in 2015, when Ferdinand was a veteran presence.
Ferdinand took to Twitter to congratulate Furlong, admitting his former teammate is a ‘hard working pro’ and a ‘great lad’, adding that he is delighted for Furlong.
