The pundit had added that Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea will compete for the fourth and final UEFA Champions League spot in the standings.

Ferdinand said on his YouTube channel: “My top four – I said City, Liverpool, Spurs, and I think it’s going to be a shootout between Arsenal, Chelsea and United.”

Arsenal and Tottenham have made some wonderful signings this summer, and both the North London clubs won their respective games in the Premier League this past weekend.

Chelsea and Manchester United, though, will be strong contenders for the top four.

In fact, Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea will even fancy their chances of competing with Liverpool and Manchester City for the Premier League title, especially if they are able to bring in one or two more players before the end of the summer transfer window.

The race for the third and fourth spot in the Premier League table this season could go down to the wire.
