Aston Villa, Southampton and Norwich City will get relegated, predicts Rio Ferdinand.

The former Manchester United and West Ham United defender believes that Norwich’s lack of major signings in the summer transfer window will be their undoing.
Ferdinand has also suggested that Villa have made too many signings, and the former Leeds United man has also predicted Southampton in finish in the bottom three.
Ferdinand told The Sun: “Going down, I think Norwich will be a bit short, haven’t really invested, a young team. Villa, will all those players gel?
“And then I’m going to go someone like Southampton. I think Brighton will be down there, Newcastle too. But those three, I’m going to go for.”

Relegation battle
The relegation battle in the Premier League this season will be very interesting, as a number of teams are likely to be involved in it.
The likes of Sheffield United, Newcastle United, Crystal Palace, Burnley and Brighton and Hove Albion will know that they will be in danger of going down to the Championship..
Villa, though, should be optimistic, as Dean Smith’s side have some very good players, such as Jack Grealish, John McGinn and Tyrone Mings.
The Villans will kick off their 2019-20 Premier League campaign with a game against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday evening.
