Everton’s 5-2 defeat against Arsenal yesterday proved to be the final straw for Koeman, who has been hanging on to his job at Goodison Park for weeks.
The Toffees are now set to be looking for a new boss, and Ferdinand believes Dyche could end in at the Merseyside club – which, in turn, could see Sheffield United’s Chris Wilder end up at Turf Moor.
Wilder has done an amazing job with Sheffield United, helping the Blades rise up from League One and become promotion contenders in the Championship.
Whether Wilder would leave his boyhood club to join Burnley, if the offer was presented to him, remains to be seen.
