Tottenham Hotspur need a Eden Hazard-type player, suggests Rio Ferdinand.

The former West Ham United and Leeds United central defender believes that Tottenham are lacking a Eden Hazard-type player.
Hazard is one of the best attacking midfielders in the world and is a key figure in the current Chelsea team.
The 26-year-old Belgium international, who can also operate as a winger, has scored three goals in the Premier League and three in the Champions league so far this season.

Ferdinand said about Tottenham on the UEFA Champions League Highlights show on BT Sport 2 on Tuesday night (10:50pm, November 21, 2017): “I keep saying that I think they need to invest in somebody who’s going to be that stardust in their team, they don’t have that yet.”
When asked whether star striker Harry Kane is not the stardust, Ferdinand replied: “No, Harry Kane’s a great goalscorer, but I am talking about that magician, that Eden Hazard, someone who can draw two or three players out of position to come to him and then they free up Harry Kane and Dele Alli a lot more.”

Tottenham have a very strong team with a number of world-class players in every department.
Hugo Lloris, Harry Kane and Toby Alderweireld are superb players, and so is Christian Eriksen.
Just like Hazard, Eriksen is one of the best and most creative midfielders in the world, and the Denmark international is still only 25 years of age; he can only get better in the coming years.
