Frank Lampard is in talks to become the new Derby County manager.

Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has jokingly suggested on social networking site Twitter that his former West Ham United teammate and Chelsea legend Frank Lampard should not take the Derby County managerial role.
Former West Ham and Chelsea midfielder Lampard has told BT Sport that he wants to become the new Derby manager and is speaking to the Championship club.
Former West Ham and United defender Ferdinand, who works as a pundit for BT Sport along with the 39-year-old, has jokingly suggested on Twitter that his ex-England international teammate should not take the managerial role at the Rams.

Good choice for Derby County?
Lampard is a Premier League legend, and his knowledge of the game and vast experience will be massive for Derby.
Although the former England international midfielder does not have any experience of first-team management yet, the way he analyses matches as a pundit suggest that he can be good in the role.
What is important is that Derby – if they do hand Lampard the managerial job – back him in the summer transfer window and give him time.
