Rio Ferdinand was certainly impressed by the performance of Toni Kroos of Bayern Munich this evening.
Rio Ferdinand may not be at Old Trafford next season – but one player who might is Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos.
David Moyes has been to watch the player in action for Bayern – sitting alongside the players agent as Bayern took on Borussia Monchengladbach.
And he was also in attendance at The Emirates this evening potentially running the rule over the player – and if he was as impressed as Rio Ferdinand was he might be writing a blank cheque for his services and faxing it Karl-Heinz Rummenigge’s way.
Rio was Tweeting throughout the game as Kroos starred for Bayern – scoring a goal, setting up the Arjen Robben chance which earned Wojciech Szczesny a red-card and striking the post late on.
