Tanguy Ndombele joined Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.

The Manchester United legend believes that midfielder Ndombele is a fantastic player and is a great prospect, but the France international does not have what it takes to stimulate players like star strikerHarry Kane.
Stats
Ndombele joined Tottenham from French club Lyon in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £53.8 million.
The 22-year-old France international midfielder has made two appearances in the Premier League for Spurs so far this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
Ferdinand said about Ndombele on BT Sport 1 on Saturday morning (11:11am, August 31, 2019): “I think he is a fantastic player, a great prospect, but he hasn’t got the personality or the stature in the game yet to be the person that everyone goes, ‘Oh actually’.
“Is Harry Kane going to go, ‘Oh, that’s stimulating me, that player’? He might do through performances over a period of time, but not immediately.”

Future star
What Ferdinand suggests about Ndombele is true. The Frenchman is not the finished article yet and is not exactly a household name.
However, the Frenchman can develop into a world-class midfielder, and he has hit the ground running at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Spurs may have not signed a readymade star in Ndombele, but they have recruited a midfielder who can be a top player in the future.
